Documentation — Novupay

Novupay sits in the middle: customers pay on our checkout (card via PayGate or crypto via NOWPayments), we confirm the order, deduct our platform fee, and send you the net amount to the wallet you configure.

1. Add your payout wallet

After signup, open Dashboard → Payout settings and enter:

Payout method — we recommend USDC (Polygon) (same network as card settlements).
Wallet address — your personal or business wallet. Novupay validates the format before saving.

Use a self-custodial wallet you control (e.g. Trust Wallet, MetaMask). Double-check the network — sending USDC to a wrong chain can lose funds.

2. Platform fee

When a payment is confirmed, Novupay calculates:

Gross order amount     $100.00
Platform fee (e.g. 2.5%) − $2.50
Net payout to you       $97.50

The customer always pays the full order amount. Our fee is deducted from your side — it is not added on top at checkout. Your fee rate may differ if agreed individually withNovupay support.

3. Where customer payments go

Card / Apple Pay / Google Pay

Processed via PayGate. Funds settle to Novupay's USDC Polygon wallet instantly per transaction. You do not configure PayGate — only your payout wallet in Novupay.

Crypto

Processed via NOWPayments. Deposits land in Novupay's NOWPayments balance, then we reconcile and pay you net to your wallet.

Provider processing fees (PayGate / NOWPayments) are separate from the Novupay platform fee and are already reflected in what Novupay receives.

4. When you receive money

Payouts are processed by the Novupay team on a schedule (not instant on-chain yet). When we send your net amount, the order shows Payout: Sent in your dashboard and you receive an email with the transaction reference.

Automatic on-chain payouts may be added later. Until then, make sure your payout wallet in settings is always up to date.
