WooCommerce setup

Connect your WordPress store to Novupay in about 10 minutes.

What happens at checkout

  1. Customer chooses Novupay at WooCommerce checkout.
  2. The plugin builds a secure order hash and redirects to https://portal.novupay.com/pay/h/<hash>.
  3. Novupay immediately redirects the browser to InfinitePay. There is no Novupaypayment page and no extra button. Name, email, and phone from WooCommerce are sent with the link when they are valid.
  4. Novupay confirms payment and POSTs a signed order.paid callback to your store.
  5. The plugin verifies the signature and marks the WooCommerce order paid.

You do not put the InfinitePay API key in WordPress. InfinitePay notifies Novupay, and Novupay notifies the store.

Before you start

  • WordPress with WooCommerce installed.
  • A Novupay merchant account — sign up if you have not already.
  • A site created in Dashboard → Sites (API) with API key and secret.
  • Permalinks enabled (Settings → Permalinks — any option except Plain).

Step 1 — Download the plugin

Download the official Novupay WooCommerce plugin:

Download card2pay-woocommerce.zip

Step 2 — Install in WordPress

  1. WP Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  2. Choose card2pay-woocommerce.zip and install.
  3. Activate Novupay for WooCommerce.

Step 3 — Configure the gateway

Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Novupay.

FieldValue
Enable✓ Enable Novupay
Novupay base URLhttps://portal.novupay.com
API keyFrom dashboard → Sites (starts with c2p_)
API secretFrom the same site card — must match exactly

The plugin shows your webhook URL automatically. It should look like:

https://your-store.com/wp-json/card2pay/v1/callback

Step 4 — Match callback URL in Novupay

In Dashboard → Sites (API), edit your site and set the callback URL to the same address the plugin displays (usually https://your-store.com/wp-json/card2pay/v1/callback).

The plugin also sends callback_url with each order, so a mismatch in the dashboard alone rarely blocks payments — but keeping both in sync is recommended.

Step 5 — Test checkout

  1. Add a product to cart and go to checkout.
  2. Select Novupay and place the order.
  3. You should be redirected to Novupay checkout.
  4. Complete payment with Pix or card.
  5. Confirm the order is PAID in Novupay Orders and Processing/Completed in WooCommerce.

Go-live checklist

  • Gateway enabled in WooCommerce.
  • API key and secret match your Novupay site (not another environment).
  • Callback URL uses HTTPS and is reachable from the internet.
  • WordPress REST API not blocked by security plugins or firewall.
  • Payout settings filled in on your Novupay dashboard.
